Reviewed in the united states on september 19 2016. Freesync setup all you need to complete your freesync capable rig besides the xl2730z is an appropriate radeon graphics board. Someone else will have to answer but nvidia does not use freesync so i believe you will still get screen tearing when the refresh and the fps do not match as the only thing you will be using is v sync.

Xl2730 nvidia freesync. 4 0 out of 5 stars dead pixel. Only certain models starting with the radeon r7 260 but not. Even though the freesync isn t compatible with nvidia i don t really miss it and with the displayport cable the monitor works flawlessly. Blur reduction is turned off in the monitor settings. Greatly reduced input lag no stuttering and an overall smoother gaming experience.
