Nvidia X Server Settings Empty Ubuntu

When i open nvidia x server settings it shows empty.

When setting the preferred power mode in the powermizer settings of the nvidia control panel in ubuntu the setting is reset after a reboot of the system. I have installed nvidia geforce 940mx graphics driver version 384 111 from softwares updates additional drivers. The nvidia x server window was empty. Sudo apt get purge nvidia and reinstall drive manually still facing the same issue. I was installing ubuntu 19 10 on a new laptop with nvidia graphics card. In my first attempt i ignored this and continued to boot. I am using ubuntu 10 04 i know i can start nvidia x server settings by choose.

I have tried to switch drivers and reboot the computer. In the ubuntu installation i enable the installation of 3rd party drivers and provided a password for secure boot. Also i switched to ubuntu xorg and reinstall the driver but no luck showing the same result like below image.
