Nvidia Shadowplay Audio Glitch

I m experiencing weird audio noises in my shadowplay recordings with the latest geforce experience version 3 20 4 14.

Nvidia shadowplay audio glitch. This is just one fix so pleas. Basically only happens when. Nvidia audio device as it turns out in most of the cases the issue is caused due to the incorrect audio device selected for the nvidia category in your windows sound settings when this happens there will be no audio since the device that nvidia is using isn t being used by you. Faulty drivers it s possible that driver issues cause the problem when streaming video and sound over hdmi the problem can be caused by both new or old drivers and you.

Basically what happens is that nvidia relies on the settings that you have specified on your windows machine. One of the said causes of the problem turns out to be the default audio capture device for the nvidia software. That s because windows media player lacks the ability to decode shadowplay videos with both mic and in game sound. The default audio output device is changed some changes you make to your computers such as installing new windows or driver updates can change the default audio output device and you will need to change it back.

My other pc has the sound blaster ae 9 with latest geforce experience v3 20 4 14 and no shadowplay audio problems at all. Tried different sample rates on my nu audio pro but no fix. I tried the same solutions and nothing helped with the audio glitch problem. There is no problem when recording desktop but once you put a load on the gpu that s when i experience this audio problem.

In such a case what you have to do is simply change the audio device for nvidia in sound settings. Only solution is to revert geforce experience to previous version 3 20 3 63. But i only have this problem with my pc with an evga nu audio pro. Still bad audio quality nvidia shadowplay.

It cannot detect the audio track of these 2 different audio sources and it just chooses to play the video silently.
