Nvidia Now Black Screen

Black screen after nvidia driver update jump to solution.

Nvidia now black screen. I was getting a black screen when booting. I then tried disabling the nvidia driver but that didn t seem to change anything. Restart your computer then try to open geforce experience normally by double clicking. Renaming xorg config and rebooting worked for me.

Now i can t do anything with it now because i can t get into safe mode and do anything without a display and i can t use to onboard hdmi because that is disabled. Your x51 has a black screen startup yet. I updated the driver but that didn t help. The xorg config file created by nvidia xconfig.

I have a nvidia 6200 graphics card. If you re still seeing a black screen move straight to method 2. Now i have a black screen on the laptop and a no signal indicator on the external monitor. So i turned that back on and disabled the intel driver hoping maybe the nvidia one would work properly.
