Nvidia Inspector Maximum Frames Allowed
Turning this off brought me from 25 fps to well over 70.
Nvidia inspector maximum frames allowed. The visual quality not only did not suffer it actually got a lot better. My laptop s spec is like this cpu i7 4700 mq video card nvidia 750m driver 355 98 intel hd 4600 driver 10 18 14 4294 since its optimus laptop s. Obviously only applies to people with nvidia cards with mfsaa on. Of course those are not settings i would use to play the game just to demonstrate the effect.
So how can i limit framerate by using nvidia inspector. I tried adjusting an option named maximum frame allowed but it gives no change. In the list of settings click the box to the right of max frame rate by default this option is disabled and there is no maximum frame rate. As nvidia explains this feature builds on the maximum pre rendered frames feature that s been found in the nvidia control panel for over a decade.
After days of researching someone said you can change the on nvidia inspector i ve downloaded it typed 0 in on maximum frames allowed and applied however it still doesen t work properly unless i m doing something wrong i really can t find a solution to this problem. In quake 2 for example i forced maximum frames allowed to 255 using nvidia inspector set gl swapinterval to 2 30 fps 60hz in the engine and was astonished at the reduction in mouse lag gl finish 1 made. I m a big fan of frames over appearance and certain youtube videos describe ways to update the textures anti aliasing etc. Can i put exact number to limit framerate.
Alternatively just optimize the game via geforce experience. With ultra low latency mode frames are submitted into the render queue just before the gpu needs them. It removed this weird wavy effect that i had assumed was stylization. Hello playing the game on a side pc potato leaves me with a blurry game like that of wearing coke bottle glasses.
To set a maximum frame rate select on and choose your maximum frames per second fps click apply at the bottom of the window to save your settings. The settings maximum frames allowed and maximum pre rendered frames actually are the same thing it seems. If you re having framerate issues try this.
