Nvidia High Definition Audio Not Plugged In
So now i have nvidia high definition audio 1 0 0 55 and idt high definition audio 6 10 6225 0.
Nvidia high definition audio not plugged in. My outputs are just not detected when plugged into hdmi even though there is display on the external monitor. I ve been trying quite unsuccessfully to get my hd audio working from my zbook g3 15 but to no avail. Follow the steps below to resolve the nvidia output not plugged in on windows. Choose browse my computer for driver software.
Click let me pick from a list of available driver on my computer. For uninstalling the graphic drivers. On the device manager menu expand the option display adaptor. Right click your nvidia high definition audio and select update driver.
Click no if you re prompted for a restart. Now right click on the graphic card and choose the option uninstall device. Select high definition audio device then click next. I also rolled back the display driver for nvidia geforce gt 130m to 8 15 11 8644.
Now the playback devices list shows the nvidia hdmi out correctly and knows when the cable is plugged in. Or press the windows r keys altogether to display the run dialogue box in the blank space type msc and click ok. You can also double click the nvidia icon in the system tray if you see it. So i uninstalled drivers and tried to install older ones.
