Nvidia freesync flickering fix. Sadly the flicker returned a few days later when i reinstalled the same display drivers minus gfe. Maybe it s something from 8 2 0. Some guys are setting 35 to 144hz but for me that gave horrible artifacting on low fps. It s not clear whether nvidia is talking about classical proper g sync displays or if this driver also clears up issues with g sync compatible read.

Not sure if this will work for other monitors but if you have a similar setting try disabling it. Tweak till you like it. I truly hope this can fix the issue for others struggling with the dreaded g sync flicker. Currently all new freesync monitors has range from 35hz and to be honest this is just nvidia marketing.

Have a nice day fellow gamers. I disabled over driver in my monitor on screen settings and now it works perfectly. They still want to sell g sync panels so they will not get certification to every freesync monitor. Though from what i ve read through google if the fps dips below the freesync in my case g sync compatible range flickering should be expected.

I was getting brightness flickering in all games. This is what worked best for me and a safe option restart driver with cru. Reduced refresh rate method if your frame rate is mostly around 60fps in a certain game and you have a high refresh rate gaming display consider lowering the monitor s refresh rate to 60hz in order to avoid brightness flickering. Hi everyone just wanted to share a fix i figured out to get g sync working flawlessly on my msi optix g27c2. I just learned to live with it until nvidia or blizz fix whatever is wrong. And this was before 8 2 5 for me. Yeah it s still been a thing for me.
